Music changes people, it changes how they feel about themselves, and it gives them a unique way to communicate with each other and their audience. The biggest step people ever take is from not playing an instrument to playing a little. That’s why, after nearly 20 years of offering this workshop, I still look forward to teaching it.

The air is cool and crisp and it’s time to head back to school, this time to learn to paint with oils. Last night’s class began by creating color mixing charts which not only give everyone experience with the colors we will be using this semester, but a reference guide for mixing when we start working on painting a still life.
